Henry Curry has 25 years of dedicated service in Dallas County. He most recently served as the Assistant Chief at Dallas Constable Precinct 2. As Assistant Chief, he oversaw daily operations, training, and staff management. Henry Curry has held various positions and worked in all facets within the Constable’s office including Sergeant, Training Coordinator, Writ Specialist, Traffic Enforcement, and Warrants.
Curry currently holds a Master Peace Officer certification and is a graduate of the Texas Constables Leadership College at Bill Blackwood Law Enforcement Management Institute of Texas. He is a Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Instructor and trains deputies annually in Basic Civil Process from various surrounding counties.
Curry also holds Mental Illness Specialist and Field Training Officer certifications through the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement. Curry serves as a liaison with other County Departments to address issues that impact operations. This includes serving as one of the project leads for Soft Code, a new civil case management system for all Dallas County Constables, the District Clerk, the County Clerk, and all Justice of the Peace Courts.
Curry and spouse Lisa have two daughters and a son. Curry attends Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship Church. His hobbies include participating in youth sports activities, restoring classic cars, and community outreach events.
Curry's outstanding law enforcement experience, training, and knowledge will allow him to provide effective leadership to our community and guidance to his peers.
