Constable Henry Curry brings 28 years of dedicated service to the citizens of Dallas County. He has served as Constable for Precinct 3 since January 1, 2023, following his role as Assistant Chief at Dallas County Constable Precinct 2. In that position, he managed daily operations, training, and staff development. Throughout his career, Constable Curry has held numerous roles within the Constable’s Office, including Sergeant, Training Coordinator, Writ Specialist, Traffic Enforcement, and Warrants, giving him well-rounded experience in every area of service.
Constable Curry holds a Master Peace Officer certification and is a proud graduate of the Texas Constables Leadership College at the Bill Blackwood Law Enforcement Management Institute of Texas. As a licensed Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) Instructor, he provides annual training in Basic Civil Process to deputies across Dallas County and neighboring counties.
He also holds certifications as a Mental Illness Specialist and Field Training Officer through TCOLE. In addition, he serves as a liaison with other County Departments to address operational challenges.
With his extensive law enforcement experience, training, and leadership, Constable Curry continues to provide effective guidance to his peers and strong, dedicated service to the community.
